E550 is a transformer connected commercial electricity meter suitable for low and medium voltage applications. Meter also comes in a directly connected option. The device provides very much needed functionality in power quality, anti-tampering, billing and outage support. This meter covers comprehensive range of possible communications interfaces (CS, RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, optical) and is equipped with multiple I/Os which could extend up to a number of 8 and serve different purpose. With the addition of E55C communication unit, meter can provide remote communication options via 2G or 3G networks.
